PowerExchange for Snowflake

Effective in version 10.2 HotFix 1, PowerExchange for Snowflake has the following changes:
  • You can override the database and schema name used while importing the tables through the Snowflake connection. To override, enter the database and schema name in the
    Additional JDBC URL Parameters
    field in the Snowflake connection properties in the following format:
    DB=<DB_name>&Schema=<schema_name>
    Previously, you could specify an override for the database and schema name only in the session properties.
  • You can read or write data that is case-sensitive or contains special characters. You cannot use the following special characters: @ ~ \
    Previously, you had to ensure that the source and target table names contained only uppercase letters.
  • PowerExchange for Snowflake uses the Snowflake JDBC driver version 3.6.26.
    Previously, PowerExchange for Snowflake used the Snowflake JDBC driver version 3.6.4.
  • When you run a custom query to read data from Snowflake, the Integration Service runs the query and the performance of importing the metadata is optimized.
    Previously, when you configured a custom query to read data from Snowflake, the Integration Service sent the query to the Snowflake endpoint and the number of records to import was limited to 10 records.

Informatica PowerExchange for Snowflake 10.2 HotFix 2 User Guide for PowerCenter
