Preserving Relationships Among IMS Record Types

Preserving Relationships Among IMS Record Types

If the IMS unload source file includes multiple record types, data masking and data subset operations must preserve the relationships among these record types.
To preserve these relationships, the workflow performs the following tasks:
  1. Reads the input file in a single pass.
  2. Generates temporary primary key and foreign key columns and sequencing metadata.
  3. Writes the output file in a single pass, preserving the relationships among the different record types.
