Implementing Data Masking and Data Subset with Sequential or VSAM Sources

Overview

Overview

You can perform data masking and data subset operations on sequential or VSAM sources on z/OS.
To implement data masking or data subset with a sequential or VSAM source, define a PowerExchange data map for the source. After you create a data map, import the source definition into PowerCenter. In the TDM Workbench, you then define PowerExchange NRDB batch connections, include the source in a project, create a plan for data masking and data subset, and generate and run a workflow to implement the plan.
