The Auto Translation for MDM 360 Applications recipe is based on REST and SOAP APIs. Use
the recipe to automatically translate descriptions of your Informatica Master Data
Management (MDM) business entity records using a Large Language Model (LLM). This recipe
uses OpenAI to translate data from a source language into one or many target
languages.
The recipe is designed to translate data from field groups, requiring a language field. The
translation occurs from a source language to one or more target languages configured in
the process. The field group can contain up to three fields for translation. For
example, if you use the Product 360 item business entity, you can translate fields, such
as Title, Short Description, and Long Description. The translation is facilitated by
OpenAI.
The process is designed to integrate seamlessly with MDM SaaS, utilizing External Enrichment,
and then create an objective groups in Business 360 Console.
