Process Restart

Users who have the Admin or Operator role can restart a completed, faulted, or suspended process from the Application Integration Console. The
My Processes
tab in Application Integration lists all the processes that you had run with authentication. You can restart a completed, faulted, or suspended process from the
My Processes
tab.
You can restart a process that meets the following criteria:
  • The process was run at least once on the Cloud Server or on an agent.
  • The process is in one of the following states:
    • Completed
    • Faulted
    • Suspended
  • The tracing level for the process is set to
    Normal
    or
    Verbose
    .
  • If the process contains attachments, the persistence type is set to
    Full
    or
    Persist
    .
You can also restart a process that has the
Binding
property set to
Event
.
You cannot restart a BPEL process that has the
Create Instance
property to
Yes
in multiple steps.
If you edited a process but did not run it, when you restart the process, the last run version of the process is restarted.
if you restart a process that contains a subprocess, the subprocess is also restarted. If a parent process contains multiple subprocesses, you can choose to restart specific subprocesses.
