Creating a Copy Operation Using a Context Menu

Creating a Copy Operation Using a Context Menu

Tip:
Use this procedure to create any type of Copy operation. For a quicker way to create a variable-to-variable Copy operation, see Creating a Copy Operation Using Drag and Drop.
  1. Do one of the following:
    • Select an assign activity from the Process Editor canvas, if you want to add a Copy operation to it. The Copy is added after any current Copy operations.
    • Go to Step 2 if you want to create a new assign activity automatically.
  2. In the Process Variables list, open a variable for either the
    From
    or
    To
    clause of the Copy operation.
  3. Right-mouse click and select
    Copy > From
    to create the
    From
    clause or
    Copy > To
    to create the
    To
    clause.
  4. In the
    Copy Operations
dialog, complete the remaining clause, and click
    OK
    .
In the Process Editor canvas and Outline view, the current or new assign activity is selected.
