Amazon S3 Connector Known Limitations

Amazon S3 Connector Known Limitations

The following table describes known limitations:
CR
Description
ICS-8277
If you use the
$LastRunTime
and
$LastRunDate
system parameters in the file name when you create a target, the
synchronization
task or
mapping
task generates an exception.
ICS-8244
When you edit an existing
synchronization
task, the target object name does not appear if you defined the target object name in a parameter file.
ICS-4798
If you select incorrect
Formatting Options
and then run a mapping to read or write an Amazon S3 file, an exception appears.
Workaround: You must select valid
Formatting Options
and proceed with the task.
ICS-4660
The
Formatting Options
dialog box does not show the backslash (\) as the default escape character.
CCON-11226
When you read data from Amazon S3 and specify the line that you want to use as the header in the
Header Line Number
property, the Secure Agent does not read the data from the specified line number.
CCON-8496
When you configure partitioning for a mapping that reads data from multiple Amazon S3 sources, the Secure Agent ignores the partitioning.
CCON-6862
When you read an Amazon S3 file that is not in a valid format, a null pointer exception occurs and an appropriate error message does not appear.
