Google BigQuery V2 Connector Known Limitations

Google BigQuery V2 Connector Known Limitations

The following table describes known limitations:
CR
Description
CCORE-109
If you configure a Lookup transformation to look up data from a Google BigQuery source and the source contains a column of Numeric data type, the mapping fails.
CCON-20477
If you configure an uncached Lookup transformation to look up data from a Google BigQuery source and the source contains a column of DateTime or Timestamp data type, the mapping fails for certain values with the following error:
java.lang.RuntimeException: Invalid expression string for filter condition.
CCON-20414
If you configure an uncached Lookup transformation to look up data from a Google BigQuery source and the source contains a NULL value, an error occurs in the following scenarios:
  • If the source contains a NULL value in the first row of the column, the mapping fails.
  • If the source contains a NULL value in any other rows of the column, the mapping considers the filter condition for the previous row. This results in data duplication in the lookup table.
CCON-21157
When you configure an advanced data filter in a mapping, the mapping fails if the following conditions are true:
  • You use a Google BigQuery V2 source connection in hybrid mode.
  • You specify the advanced data filter in the following format:
    tablename.fieldname = <value>
  • The table name begins with a number.
CCON-20235
When a Google BigQuery source contains columns with the REQUIRED constraint and you use
Create New at Runtime
to write data, the columns are created with the NULLABLE constraint in the target table.
CCON-15178
If you configure proxy settings for Google BigQuery V2 Connector, the Secure Agent does not log the proxy details in the session log.
CCON-15174
When you write data to a Google BigQuery target, the Secure Agent does not write any row to the success file or error file.
CCON-15173
When you specify incorrect credentials in the connection properties, the test connection is successful.
