The following table describes fixed issues:

CR	Description
CCON-21845	When you read data from or write data to a Kafka topic in JSON or Avro format and map the Key column in the Field Mapping tab, the mapping fails with the following error: Metadata Import Error: Imported objects does not contain a valid workflow. (October 2020)

The following table describes known issues:

CLDDI-3402	When you read data from or write data to a Kafka topic in JSON format and select the JSON option in the Format Type property, the Secure Agent displays the following error in the Mapping Designer: Top-level struct must contain at least one key When you read data from or write data to a Kafka topic in Avro format and select the Avro option in the Format Type property, the Secure Agent displays the following error in the Mapping Designer: error [The format or syntax of the schema is not valid. Make sure that the schema is valid and well-formed.Cannot parse schema] Workaround: Select Import from Schema File option in the Schema Source property in the Formatting Options. (October 2020)
CCON-21946	When you run a mapping to write data to a Kafka topic in Avro format, the Jobs page displays the following error message: [ERROR] SLF4J: Class path contains multiple SLF4J bindings. However, the mapping runs successfully. (April 2020)

Description

CLDDI-3402

When you read data from or write data to a Kafka topic in JSON format and select the JSON option in the

Format Type

property, the Secure Agent displays the following error in the Mapping Designer:

Top-level struct must contain at least one key

When you read data from or write data to a Kafka topic in Avro format and select the Avro option in the

Format Type

property, the Secure Agent displays the following error in the Mapping Designer:

error [The format or syntax of the schema is not valid. Make sure that the schema is valid and well-formed.Cannot parse schema]

Workaround: Select

Import from Schema File

option in the

Schema Source

property in the Formatting Options. (October 2020)

When you run a mapping to write data to a Kafka topic in Avro format, the Jobs page displays the following error message:

[ERROR] SLF4J: Class path contains multiple SLF4J bindings.

However, the mapping runs successfully.
