JDBC connections overview

JDBC connections overview

Create a JDBC connection to access data from a database with a JDBC type 4 driver. You can use JDBC connections to specify sources, lookups, and targets in
synchronization
 tasks. When you create a JDBC connection, you enter properties specific to JDBC.
You can create a JDBC connection on the
Connections
 page, or in the
Synchronization
 task wizard. The connection then becomes available to the entire organization to use.
