Provide the license key and installation directory path

Provide the license key and installation directory path

Specify the installation directory and the path to the license key file.
  1. Enter the absolute path to the installation directory.
    The directory names in the path can't contain spaces or the following special characters:
    ` % * + ; \ / " ? , < > @ # ! % ) ( } { ] [ ' | &
    Default
    is the user home directory for the user that runs the installation.
    Informatica recommends using alphanumeric characters in the installation directory path. If you use a special character such as á or €, unexpected results might occur at run time.
  2. Enter the absolute path to the license key and press

    You can enter the license key of any version.
  3. Choose whether you want to run the installer on a network that uses Kerberos authentication.
    • Press
      1
      to configure the CDI-PC domain to run on a network with Kerberos authentication.
    • Press
      2
      to configure the CDI-PC domain to run on a network that doesn't use Kerberos authentication.
    Default is 1.
    You can configure either Kerberos authentication or Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) authentication in the domain. You can't use both authentication modes together.
    If you chose to configure Kerberos network authentication, the
    Network Security - Service Principal Level
    section appears. For more information, see Configure service principal level network security.
  4. If you do not want to configure Kerberos network authentication, choose
    2
    and press
