Select domain components and Hadoop integration packages

Specify domain components and integration packages that you want to install. The integration package selection applies to Data Engineering Integration (Modernization) only.

You must install an integration package to push processing to Hadoop, process complex files within the domain, or connect to Hadoop but process within the domain. You can choose to install the packages at the time of installation or at a later time period after the installation is complete

Choose the service that you want to install.

Default is 1.

Option	Service	Result
1	Cloud Data Integration for PowerCenter (CDI-PC)	The Pre-Installation Summary section appears. Review the installation information and press Enter to continue. Skip to Configure domain settings and secure communication.
2	Informatica Data Quality (Modernization)	The Pre-Installation Summary section appears. Review the installation information and press Enter to continue. Skip to Configure domain settings and secure communication.
3	Data Engineering Integration (Modernization)	Continue to Step 2.

Choose whether you want to install integration packages using the CDI-PC installer.

Press

if you want to install integration packages using the installer.

Press

if you don't need integration packages or if you want to install them later.

Default is 1.

If you choose to install integration packages, select one or more packages that you want to install from the list.

Separate multiple packages with a comma. Default is 1.

You can install a Hadoop package using the installer or using Integration Package Manager (the package manager) at any time. You can integrate the CDI-PC domain with Hadoop clusters through Data Engineering Integration (modernization). You must separately download the required Hadoop packages along with the server installer. For more information, see Download the installers from Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. Before running the installer, place these Hadoop packages inside the server installer's source directory. Only then will the installer include the Hadoop binaries during the installation process.

The

Pre-Installation Summary

section displays the installation information.

Review the installation information and press

Enter

to continue.

The installer copies the

CDI-PC

files to the installation directory. After the installer copies the files, the

Domain Selection

page appears. See Configure domain settings and secure communication.

Run the installer in console mode
