Decimal and double data types

Decimal and double data types

You can pass decimal and double data from sources to targets and perform transformations on decimal and double data.
Data Integration
supports the following data types:
Decimal
Precision 1 to 28 digits, scale 0 to 28. You cannot use decimal values with scale greater than precision or a negative precision. Transformations display any range that you assign to a decimal data type, but
Data Integration
supports precision only up to 28 digits.
When you enable high precision and the field precision is greater than 28 digits,
Data Integration
stores the result as a double.
Double
Double-precision floating-point numeric value.
You can edit the precision and scale. The scale must be less than or equal to the precision.
