When you enable the
Optimize Object Metadata Importconnection property in a mapping configured in advanced mode to read data from or write data to a Google Cloud Storage file, where the file and folder within a Google Cloud Storage bucket has the same name, the metadata import fails with the following error:
Failed to validate the data object because the entry already exists in the collection. Provide a unique name for the entry.
When you run a mapping configured in advanced mode to read data from a Google Cloud Storage source and write data to a Google Cloud Storage target, the mapping runs successfully, but the Spark Driver log displays the following error:
GoogleHadoopFileSystemBase - No working directory configured, using default.
Workaround: Ignore the error message.
When you run a mapping configured in advanced mode to read data from a Google Cloud Storage flat file in Delimited format and specify % as the delimiter, the data preview displays the following error:
Cannot get data preview for the selected Connection and object. Please verify connection and object details. (URLDecoder: Illegal hex characters in escape (%) pattern - For input string: ""}")
Mappings fail when you read data from a Google Cloud Storage source and write data to a Google Cloud Storage target and if the source and the target connections use different Project IDs associated with the same Google service account.
