Settings for the Data Conversion Process

The data conversion batch job uses the default synchronization settings and the match settings to convert beans from external data sources to Salesforce records. You can customize the default custom settings based on your Salesforce organization and requirement.
Before you run the data conversion batch job, you can perform the following tasks:
  • Configure the synchronization settings.
  • Configure the matching settings.
If a bean is from an external data source, if you have state and country picklists enabled in your organization, enter the correct state and country codes in the bean details page.
For example, if the bean is from an external data source with United States as the country and California as the state, enter
US
in the country field and
CA
in the state field.
For optimal results, after you configure the custom settings, compare two records and test the settings.
