Step 3. Configure the Email Address Verification Service Settings

The DaaS batch job uses the email address verification service settings to verify email addresses.
  1. Based on the Salesforce environment that you use, perform one of the following tasks:
    • In Salesforce Classic, from the
      Setup
      section of the
      CC360 Admin
      tab, click
      Run the Setup Wizard
      .
    • In Lightning Experience, perform the following tasks:
      1. On the navigation menu, click
        CC360 Admin
        .
        The
        Manage CC360
        page appears.
      2. From the
        Setup
        section, click
        Run the Setup Wizard
        .
  2. In the
    Service Setup
    section, click
    Email Verification
    .
    The
    Service : Informatica Email Verification
    page appears.
  3. In the
    Service Information
    section, activate Informatica Email Verification service.
  4. In the
    Informatica Email Verification Configuration
    section, configure the following subsections:
    Authentication
    Enter the authentication credentials to access the email verification service.
    Advanced Settings
    Select one or more of the following options for the point of entry verification:
    • Enable Point of Entry Click to Verify. Verifies the email address at the point of entry.
    • Enable Point of Entry Save to Verify. Verifies the email address when you save a record.
    Additional Parameters
    Optional. Enter a value for
    Timeout (seconds)
    . Timeout is the total number of seconds that the service runs to verify the email address. The verification request fails after the specified time period. Default is 90 seconds.
    You can also add or remove optional parameters, such as Optional Source ID.
  5. Click
    Save
    .
  6. To test the connection with the Email Address Verification service, click
    Test Connection
    .
    The
    Test Connection
    button is enabled only after you save the settings.
