Localizing Task Action and Types

Localizing Task Action and Types

Task actions and task types are part of metadata. You must manually edit the
besMetadata.properties
 file.
  1. In the
    Metadata Localization
     panel, under
    Metadata Bundle
    , click
    Export
    . The
    besMetadata.zip
     template file downloads.
  2. Unzip the file, and open the
    besMetadata.properties
     file in an editor of your choice.
  3. Edit the task action and task type properties in the
    besMetadata.properties
     using the following format:
    Replace white spaces in task actions with an underscore. For example,
    taskaction.Cancel_Task=(br)Cancel Task
    . The white space between
    Cancel Task
     is replaced with an underscore,
    Cancel_Task
    .
    Add
    tasktype
     before a task. For example, replace
    ReviewNoApprove
     task type with
    tasktype.ReviewNoApprove
    .
  4. Save the edited file.
  5. Compress the
    besMetadata.properties
     file.
  6. In the
    Metadata Localization
     panel, under
    Metadata Bundle
    , click
    Import
    . The
    besMetadata.zip
     template file is imported.
