Claiming Tasks

Claiming Tasks

Multiple users can share the same reviewer role. To work on a task, you must claim the task. This ensures that other users cannot work on the task while you work on it. Before you can claim a task, check for comments or attachments.
  1. Click
    Task Manager
    .
    The task panel contains a list of tasks.
  2. In the task panel, select
    All Unclaimed Tasks
    .
    The task panel lists all the unclaimed tasks of your user group.
  3. Select a task that you want to claim.
    The record appears in the review panel.
  4. Optionally, review the comments and attachments.
    1. On the
      Timeline
      tab, read all the comments.
    2. Click
      Task Details
      .
    3. Download attachments in the
      File Attachments
      section.
    4. Click
      Cancel
      .
  5. To claim the task, click
    Claim
    .
    The task panel is updated, and your user name appears in the
    Owner
    field of the task.
