Setting the End Date or Time of Record Versions

Setting the End Date or Time of Record Versions

You can set the end date or time of a record version. When you set the record end date or time, the end date or time of the last version of the record gets adjusted. You can select an end date or time between the start date or time of the first version and the end date or time of the last version.
After you set the end date or time, future record versions are deleted, and you cannot retrieve them.
  1. From the Search Results panel of the
    Search
    page, open the record that you want to view.
  2. Click
    More Actions
    , and then select
    End Date or Time
    .
    The
    Set Record End Date or Time
    dialog box appears.
  3. Select the end date or time.
  4. Click
    Submit
    .
  5. Set the end date or time of a child record version as required.
    1. Expand the child section.
    2. Expand a child record.
    3. Select a version, and then click
      More Actions
      End Date or Time
      .
      The
      Set Record End Date or Time
      window appears.
    4. Select the end date or time.
    5. Click
      Submit
      .
