You can create a persistent ID in the MDM Registry Edition Console Client or in the batch mode.

When you create a persistent ID, you can also create initial clusters. For the best performance of MDM Registry Edition, create initial clusters when you create persistent ID. You can also use updsync or updmulti tool to create initial clusters.
