You can copy a business entity or a business entity view and save it with a unique name. The copy inherits the entire model from the original business entity or business entity view. In the copy, you can add, edit, and remove fields from the model as required.

You can use the Application Editor in the Provisioning tool to configure the default date format used by the Data Director application. Also, you can configure the display format as Date or Datetime for specific date fields in the business entity and reference entity model. The configured date formats appear in all the record views.
