Types of Columns in ORS Tables

Tables in the
Hub Store
 contain two types of columns:
Column

System columns
A column that
Informatica MDM Hub
 automatically creates and maintains. System columns contain metadata.
User-defined columns
Any column in a table that is not a system column. User-defined columns are added in the Schema Manager and usually contain business data.
The system columns contain

 metadata. Do not alter
Informatica MDM Hub
 metadata in any way. Doing so will cause
Informatica MDM Hub
 to behave in unpredictable ways and you can lose data.
