Configuring a Direct Transformation

Configuring a Direct Transformation

You can directly map data from a business entity field to a view field without changing the data.
  1. Click
    Business Entity
    Transformations
    , and then select
    Business Entity to View
    .
  2. Select a business entity to view transformation.
  3. In the tree view panel, select
    Transformations
    , and then click
    Create
    .
  4. In the properties panel, specify the following properties:
    Property
    Description
    Name
    Unique name for the transformation.
    Status Output
    Not applicable for a direct transformation. Output column in the cleanse function that indicates whether the cleanse function validated the data from the business entity. Use to validate the output of the cleanse function.
    Status Success
    Not applicable for a direct transformation. Specifies the value that the cleanse function returns when the data in the status output column is successfully validated. If the status output and status success values are provided, any value in the status output column other than the status success value is displayed to the end user as an error message. Use this property to validate the output of the cleanse function.
    Type
    The type of transformation. Select
    direct
    .
    Input Fields
    Specifies the business entity fields to map to the view.
    Output Fields
    Specifies the view fields to which the business entity fields map to.
    Value
    Optional. Used to enter an input constant when the input field or output field are not defined.
  5. Click
    Apply
