Steps to Configure Fuzzy Match Key Properties

To configure fuzzy match key properties for a fuzzy-match base object:
  1. In the Schema Manager, navigate to the Match Columns tab.
  2. Acquire a write lock.
  3. Configure the following settings for this fuzzy-match base object.
    Property
    Description
    Key Type
    Type of field primarily used in the match. This is the main criterion for the search that builds the initial list of potential match candidates. This key type should be based on the main type of data stored in the base object.
    Key Width
    Size of the search range for which keys are generated.
    Path Component
    Path component for this fuzzy match key. This is a table containing the column(s) to designate as the key type: Base Object, Child Base Object table, or Cross-reference table.
  4. Click the
    Save
    button to save your changes.
