The Merge Records URL has the following format:

http://<host>:<port>/<context>/<database ID>/<business entity>/<rowid of the record>?action=merge

Make the following HTTP POST request to the Merge Records URL:

POST http://<host>:<port>/<context>/<database ID>/<business entity>/<rowid of the record>?action=merge

Add the Content-Type header to specify the media type of the data you want to send with the request:

POST http://<host>:<port>/<context>/<database ID>/<business entity>/<rowid of the record>?action=merge
Content-Type: application/<json/xml>
