Configuring a Text Component

Use a text component to display a static text on the portal.

Add a text component to a section of a custom page

The text component is added.

Click

Settings

On the

General

tab, configure the following settings:

Field Name	Description
Title	Display title of the text component.
Dimension Style	The style or measurement you want for the component size. You can select Fit to Content or a Custom style. If you select the Custom style, enter the details of the size in the following field.
Height	Size of the component in pixel.

On the

Component

tab, configure the following details for the page:

Field Name	Description
Heading	Heading for the descriptive text that you want to display.
Body Text	Descriptive text to display. To hyperlink a text, use the following format: [text](URL) The following sample text hyperlinks the text Google : [Google](https://www.google.com/)
Preview Body Text	Displays a preview of the body text. The preview appears only after you type the text in the Body Text field.
