JAAS Login Configuration

ThiThe JAAS Login Configuration panel allows you create JAAS application logins for cluster communication in a secured environment. You can create a login for both the ActiveVOSIdentityAssertion and the ActiveVOS Provided User. If you select to create ActiveVOS Provided User, you must enter a user name and password. Please note that ActiveVOS Server with MultiSite capabilities requires the ActiveVOS Provided User selection. Complete the following options:
If you do not complete this panel, you must provide the information in the WebSphere Application Server Administration Console.
ActiveVOSIdentityAssertion
(Optional). Name that is displayed in the WebSphere Administration Console for this JAAS user. Uses the WebSphere identity assertion authentication method.
ActiveVOS Provided User
(Optional). Name that is displayed in the WebSphere Administration Console as described by the user name and password below.
Provided Username (for ActiveVOS Provided User)
The actual user name associated with this JAAS user. This must be a valid user defined to the WebSphere application server and the user must have Monitor rights.
Provided Password
The password associated with the user.
After entering the above information, click
Next
to save your values and to continue.
