EventHub Target Service Properties

EventHub Target Service Properties

To add an EventHub target service, use the EventHub target service type.
You can configure the following properties for the EventHub target service type:
Entity Name
Name of the EventHub target service. Maximum length is 32 characters.
Description
Description of the target service. Maximum length is 256 characters.
Tenant ID
The ID of the tenant that the data belongs to. This ID is the Directory ID of the Azure Active Directory.
Subscription ID
The ID of the Azure subscription.
Resource Name
The name of the Azure resource group associated with the event hub namespace.
Client Application ID
The ID of the application created under the Azure Active Directory.
Client Secret Key
The secret key generated for the application.
Select a secure parameter if you have already created it. To specify a key and value, click

If you want to specify an empty password, do not enter any value for
Password
.
Event Hub Namespace
The name of the Event Hub Namespace that is associated with the resource group name.
Event Hub Name
The name of the Event Hub.
Shared Access Policy Name
The name of the Event Hub Namespace Shared Access Policy. To write to an Event hub, the policy must have Send permission.
Shared Access Policy Primary Key
The primary key of the Event Hub Namespace Shared Access Policy.

Retry on Failure
Indicates that the target service should try to write to the target if the operation fails the first time.
Number of Retries
The number of times the target service should retry to write to the source.
Delay between Retries
Time in milliseconds between successive retries.
Statistics
The statistics that you collect and monitor for the EventHub target. You can select the following statistics:
  • Bytes Received. The number of bytes the target service receives.
  • Events Received. The number of events the target service receives.
  • Receive Rate (Per Sec). The number of bytes the target service receives every second.
  • Events Reassigned. The number messages that the source service resends to the target service when it has not received acknowledgment from the target service.
