Source Services

Effective in 2.3.0, VDS includes the following new source service and enhancement:
JMS Source Service
You can use a JMS (Java Messaging Service) source service to read data from a JMS provider.
Retry on Failure
You can use properties to configure the number of times the source service tries to open the source or read from the source and the time in seconds between retries.

Target Service

Effective in 2.3.0, VDS includes the following new target services and enhancement:
JMS Target Service
You can use a JMS (Java Messaging Service) target service to write data to a JMS provider.
Kafka Target Service
Use a Kafka target service to write data to an Apache Kafka publish-subscribe messaging system broker.
Retry on Failure
You can use properties to configure the number of times the target service tries to write to the source and the time in seconds between retries.

Transformations

Effective in version 2.3.0, VDS includes the following enhancement:
Insert String Transformation Type
You can use the
#TIMEUUID
 and
#RANDOMUUID
 tokens to append unique identifiers to the input data.
