Running passwordUtil

Running passwordUtil

To run the passwordUtil command directly from the command line interface:
  1. At the command prompt, switch to the directory where the
    passwordutil
     executable is located.
    By default,
    passwordUtil
     installs in the
    RULEPOINT_CMD_HOME\bin
     directory.
  2. Run the following command, followed by the command name and its required options and arguments, based on your environment:
    • Windows:
      passwordUtil.bat
    • Unix:
      passwordUtil.sh
    The command names are not case sensitive.
