New Features in This Release

Audit Logs

  • You can now view logged policy resolution events in the the platform user interface (UI).

Integrations

Your organization can use the Privitar SDK to embed Privitar policy enforcement into a variety of tools. The Privitar SDK is a Java library that facilitates the interaction with Privitar's control plane and the enforcement of policies within an application. To date, we have seen customer integrations with the following:

  • Apache Kafka Connect

  • Apache NiFi

  • AWS Lambda functions

  • Azure Functions

  • DataBricks

  • Delta Lake

  • Informatica

  • Google BigQuery

  • Snowflake

There are more integrations planned.

Migrating Data

  • You can now create migration projects, a collection of raw data assets that a data owner wishes to mask and move to cloud storage or cross jurisdiction. A data consumer with appropriate authorization may consume the masked assets from the new location where, according to policy, masked data may be reversed.

Single Sign-On

  • You can configure the Privitar Data Security Platform to work with your organization's single sign-on (SSO) identity provider so that users can access the platform without the need to re-enter login information.
