Effective in version 5.6.0, Informatica AddressDoctor introduces the following enhancements to Japan address validation:
You can configure Informatica AddressDoctor to add the Gaiku code to validated Japan addresses. The Gaiku code is a four-digit code that identifies the block to which an address belongs. To add the Gaiku code to an address, set the
EnrichmentSupplementaryJP
attribute in
Parameters.xml
.
You can use a combination of the new Choumei Aza code and Gaiku code in the address code lookup mode to retrieve a Japan address.
You can retrieve both new and old Choumei Aza codes of an outdated address if you set the
MatchingExtendedArchive
attribute to
ON
. If the new and old Choumei Aza codes are different, you can use the new Choumei Aza code to retrieve the current address.
