SSL Authentication in DSN-less ODBC Connections to SQL Server

SSL Authentication in DSN-less ODBC Connections to SQL Server

Effective in version 10.5.9, PowerCenter supports DSN-less ODBC connections with SSL authentication for Microsoft SQL Server databases. You can configure SSL attributes directly in the connection UI without relying on DSN-based connections.
The following SSL options are available for DSN-less connections:
Encryption Method selection
Options include None and Strict.
Crypto Protocol Version
TLS versions 1.2 and 1.3.
Validate Server Certificate
Validate Server Certificate option with additional settings for Trust Store path, Trust Store password, and Host Name in certificate.
