Tips for Scripting pmrep Commands

Use the following tips when you create and run
pmrep
 scripts:
  • Include a Connect command as the first command called by the script file. This helps ensure that you perform tasks on the correct repository.
  • To run
    pmrep
     scripts that connect to different repositories simultaneously, set the INFA_REPCNX_INFO environment variable in each environment to store the name and file path for the repository connection file. This prevents a script from overwriting the connection information used by another script.
