HTTP Configuration Properties

The following table describes the HTTP configuration properties for the service:

Property	Description
HTTP Protocol Type	Security protocol that the Metadata Access Service uses. Select one of the following values: HTTP. Requests to the service must use an HTTP URL. HTTPS. Requests to the service must use an HTTPS URL. When you set the HTTP protocol type to HTTPS, you enable Transport Layer Security (TLS) for the service. You must configure the HTTP or HTTPS port for each service process. Default is HTTP.
