Creating the Metadata Manager Repository

When you create the Metadata Manager repository, you create the Metadata Manager warehouse tables and import models for metadata sources.

In the Administrator tool, click the

Manage

tab >

Services and Nodes

view.

In the Domain Navigator, select the Metadata Manager Service for which the Metadata Manager repository has no content.

Repository Contents

Create

Optionally, choose to restore the PowerCenter repository. You can restore the repository if the PowerCenter Repository Service runs in exclusive mode and the repository does not contain contents.

Click

The activity log displays the results of the create contents operation.
