Viewing Locks

You can view locks and identify residual locks in the Administrator tool.

In the Administrator tool, click the

Manage

tab >

Services and Nodes

view.

In the Domain Navigator, select the PowerCenter Repository Service with the locks that you want to view.

In the contents panel, click the

Connections & Locks

view.

In the details panel, click the

Locks

view.

The following table describes the object lock information:

Column Name	Description
Server Thread ID	Identification number assigned to the repository connection.
Folder	Folder in which the locked object is saved.
Object Type	Type of object, such as folder, version, mapping, or source.
Object Name	Name of the locked object.
Lock Type	Type of lock: in-use, write-intent, or execute.
Lock Name	Name assigned to the lock.
