The Mass Ingestion tool is a web application that provides the interface to design mass ingestion specifications and run mass ingestion jobs.
When you design a mass ingestion specification in the Mass Ingestion tool, you specify how you want to ingest your source data. You can use the Mass Ingestion tool to deploy and run the mass ingestion specification to perform the ingestion job, and you can monitor the ingestion job to review ingestion statistics.
