Microsoft Azure Blob Storage Connection Properties

Use a Microsoft Azure SQL Blob Storage connection to access a Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.
The order of the connection properties might vary depending on the tool where you view them.
You can create and manage a Microsoft Azure Blob Storage connection in the Administrator tool or the Developer tool. The following table describes the Microsoft Azure Blob Storage connection properties:

Description
Name
Name of the Microsoft Azure Blob Storage connection.
ID
String that the Data Integration Service uses to identify the connection. The ID is not case sensitive. It must be 255 characters or less and must be unique in the domain. You cannot change this property after you create the connection. Default value is the connection name.
Description
Description of the connection.
Location
The domain where you want to create the connection.
Type
Type of connection. Select AzureBlob.
The
Connection Details
tab contains the connection attributes of the Microsoft Azure Blob Storage connection. The following table describes the connection attributes:

Account Name
Name of the Microsoft Azure Storage account.
Account Key
Microsoft Azure Storage access key.
Container Name
The root container or sub-folders with the absolute path.
Endpoint Suffix
Type of Microsoft Azure end-points. You can select any of the following end-points:
  • core.windows.net
    : Default
  • core.usgovcloudapi.net
    : To select the US government Microsoft Azure end-points
  • core.chinacloudapi.cn
    : Not applicable
