Step 1. Choose the Deployment Type

On the

Deployment type

page, you must select the deployment type and host instance to run the docker image.

Launch the Informatica container utility with the

sh startup.sh

command. Default port is 12386.

To specify the startup command with a different port number, enter the values in the following format:

sh startup.sh <required port number>

To run the Informatica Docker image, select

Run the docker image

The

Deployment Type

page appears.

Enter the information for the deployment type.

Select

Data Engineering Integration

for the product.

Choose to host on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or on-premises.

Select the

Docker

deployment type.

Optionally, you can choose to provide secure authentication to deploy the containers on the remote host. If you do not want to set the secure authentication for the containers, go to step 6.

If you enable secure authentication, set the authentication type to

Password

Key

For password type authentication, enter the machine IP address or host name, user name, password, and port to connect to the host machine.

For key type authentication, enter the machine IP address or host name, user name, path of the host authentication key, and port number.
