Dashboard and Reports Management Rules and Guidelines

When you work with the Dashboard and the operational data store, consider the following rules and guidelines:

The Dashboard and Reports component supports only Oracle databases.

By default, the session timeout for the Dashboard is 30 minutes. To ensure consistency with the Operation Console, if you change the session timeout for the Operation Console, change the value of the Dashboard session timeout property in the following file:

<DXInstallationDir>/tomcat/dx-dashboard/WEB_INF/web.xml
