Configuration Checklist

Follow the high-level steps to configure the high availability environment. The actual steps may vary according to the cluster type and the
B2B Data Exchange
components that you use.
To configure the high availability environment, complete the following tasks:
  1. Complete the prerequisites tasks and set up the high availability environment.
  2. Configure JMS discovery for all of the components in the cluster, such as the
    B2B Data Exchange
JMS Broker and the JNDI Connection Factory in PowerCenter.
  3. Configure RMI connections for the
    B2B Data Exchange
server and the Power Center Integration Service.
  4. Configure the Operation Console. For single-machine clusters, modify Tomcat ports for each subsequent Operation Console instance.
  5. Configure an HTTP load balancer to distribute data transfer between the Operation Console browsers and the Tomcat server.
  6. Configure the Dashboard and reports system properties and Logi Info settings. This task is required only if you installed the Dashboard and Reports component.
  7. Configure B2B Managed File Transfer. This task is required if you installed the Managed File Transfer component.
