This section outlines how an external client application, such as a plugin for Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc. can interface with
Managed File Transfer
 in order to utilize the Secure Mail feature for sending packages.
The external client application will need to connect and log in to
Managed File Transfer
 as a Web User and make a request to one of the HTTPS servlets for processing. These servlets allow you to create a package, attach files to a package, send a package, and retrieve current Secure Mail settings.
