SAML Multi-Factor Authentication

Complete the following steps to enable Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML for B2B Data Exchange
Managed File Transfer
with PingFederate as the Identity Provider (IDP):
  1. Configure the following Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL in the Service Provider (SP) connection of PingFederate: Single Sign-On (SSO) operations utilize the ACS URL to post the SAML response to the SP. After successful authentication, you are redirected to the ACS URL to exchange SAML assertions.
  2. Download the SP connection metadata from PingFederate to your local system.
  3. Rename the downloaded file to
    metadata_portal.xml
    .
  4. Copy the
    metadata_portal.xml
    file to the following directory:
    $MFT_HOME\config
  5. For the changes to take effect, restart the MFT service.
