Installation and Upgrade

Before you install or upgrade B2B Data Exchange, verify that your system meets the minimum requirements and follow the pre-installation steps.

Upgrade Limitations

The following table describes the known upgrade limitation:
Issue
Description
MFT-700
The Managed File Transfer Console and the File Transfer Portal reset incorrectly to default ports after you upgrade Managed File Transfer.
Workaround
: If you changed the Apache Tomcat ports in your previously installed version of Managed File Transfer, you must complete the following steps before you start the Managed File Transfer application:
  1. Update the following Apache Tomcat ports in the
    C:\Informatica\<Directory for the latest MFT version>\MFT\server\tomcat\conf\server.xml
    file:
    • <Server port="<Apache Tomcat port>" shutdown="SHUTDOWN">
    • <Connector name="default" port="<Apache Tomcat port>"/>
    • <Connector name="secured" port="<Apache Tomcat port>" protocol="HTTP/1.1
  2. Configure the default HTTPS port for the ghttps service in the
    <MFT_HOME>\server\config\https.xml
    file.
