IPv6 Support

IPv6 Support

Effective in version 10.4.1, Informatica supports Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) address format in addition to the IPv4 address format.
Ensure that the domain or services have the same address format as the corresponding database instance. Both the node and the database host must be on the same address format. You can also use the Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) to connect to IPv6-enabled databases from Informatica Developer or PowerCenter hosted on machines configured with IPv6.
The following table lists the supported connections that you can use from the PowerCenter Client or Developer tool:
