Full Application

Full Application

A full application is an application that you can deploy to a Data Integration Service. Each time that you edit the application or the application objects, you must redeploy the application to apply the changes.
During application redeployment, all of the objects that the application contains are inaccessible.

Example

You create one mapping that runs a search function, and another mapping that puts selected search results in a shopping cart. You can create an application to contain the two mappings, and then deploy the application to a Data Integration Service. After testing the output of the application objects, you make changes to the objects. To update the application, you redeploy the application. You also deploy the application to an application archive file, and an administrator checks the archive file into a version control system.
