Patch Deployment Strategy

On the
Patch Deployment Strategy
 page, describe the patch, define how you want to deploy it, and choose whether the patch retains state information.

The image shows the Patch Deployment Strategy page of the Incremental Deployment wizard. The top of the page shows options to enter the patch name, enter the patch description, and a checkbox to retain state information. The middle of the page shows options to deploy the patch to a Data Integration Service or to deploy the patch to a file. The bottom of the page shows a table that shows the patch history.
When you choose a deployment strategy, you can also use the patch history to review the patches that have been deployed to update the run-time application.
