Creating an Automatic Relational Database Publication

To create an automatic publication with a relational database source, perform the following tasks:

Access the create publication wizard.

Define basic publication properties.

Select the publication source. Optionally, define joins for the publication.

Review the publication field mapping, and if required, edit the mapping that

Data Integration Hub

generates by default.

Optionally, define a filter for the publication.

Define the publication schedule.

Review the publication settings and save the publication.

Before you start this task, verify the following prerequisites:

A database that holds the source data exists.

A connection to the source database is configured in the

Data Integration Hub

Operation Console.

You have created an application.

You have created a topic.
