Starting Data Lineage Analysis from a Hidden Resource

Starting Data Lineage Analysis from a Hidden Resource

You can start data lineage analysis from an object in a resource for which the
Hide in Summary Lineage
option is enabled. When you start data lineage analysis on an object in a hidden resource, the summary view displays the object, the associated resource, and all instances of the resource.
For example, the
Hide in Summary Lineage
option is enabled for Oracle resource StagingDB1 which contains staging table StgCustData. A PowerCenter mapping writes data to the staging table. When you start data lineage analysis from table StgCustData, the summary view displays table StgCustData and all instances of resource StagingDB1.
